Leduc’s Downtown District is the right place to be if you’re looking to join a sport, or class, or need an excuse to get out of the house! We have many businesses that offer experiences for all ages as young as 4 years old! There’s a variety of hobbies and activities available from beginner to advanced.

Martial Arts

Relentless Martial Arts is committed to providing a fun and family-friendly environment to learn valuable self defense skills.

They offer Mixed Martial Arts for kids and adults, women's self defense, parent & child martial arts classes for preschoolers, and even birthday parties.

Leduc Brazilian Jiu Jitsu offers classes to children as young as 4 years old and the instructor has over 15 years of experience and passion to offer. Exercise, have fun, meet friends, build self-confidence and learn self defence!

Dance

Dancing is an amazing outlet to express feelings and emotions in an art form. It will take some practice and commitment but with the right teacher and style, you’ll develop the confidence you will carry with you forever.

Connectivity Dance’s mission is to give students of all ages and abilities a love of the art, knowledge of the technique, commitment, self-discipline and memories that will last a lifetime. They strive to provide developmentally and physically appropriate professional dance training for students ages two through adult in a positive learning environment.

They are proud to currently offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Acro, and Jump Rope. Jana the owner, enjoys putting events together to involve dances friends and family. From fundraising to help off set dance fees to providing parent watch week they truly create an inviting club.

They offer great inclusivity options. Students are able to earn cash back when they register with Flip Give which will go towards the team. Taryn’s Dance Studio thrives from its competitive program while also offering performance and pre-school programs - offering something for everyone. They strive to create a love of dance with certified instructors to offer quality training.

In just a few short years, they’ve had dancers dance in very competitive competition dance offs, have had dancers travel to New York on scholarships, had dancers win cash scholarships, had instructors continue their ever growing education and have had two very successful competition seasons so far. 

TDC doesn't just offer quality dance education - but also fosters a family like environment. Each year dancers build lasting friendships and relationships through Christmas parties, attending dance events and shows together, celebrating birthdays and goal achievements, and dancing in the community.  

There are 4 umbrella programs to choose from for preschoolers under the age of 6, performance for dancers 6 and older, competitively for dancers who wish to compete, and adult for dancers ages 18 and up.

Music Lessons

The Turner Guitar Studio has been offering high-quality music instruction in Leduc for over 20 years. Inside their location on Mainstreet, you’ll find a large selection of musical instruments with services at competitive prices with the goal of making sure their client's experience is beyond expectations.

Currently, they have over 15 music lessons available with 13 instructors. Students can choose to have their lessons in-person at their location or virtually using common platforms like Zoom or Skype. Music school admin is committed to finding a good match between teacher and student, and students can switch between disciplines or instructors at any time.

All of their instructors deliver student-centered lessons, adjusting their lesson material and delivery to suit the individual needs and interests of the student. Arts

Maybe you’re looking for a hobby to ease your mind. Creating art is known as being a healthy stress reliever while also giving you an outlet to use your imagination and express emotions.

Magic Pixie Brush Entertainment’s goal is to bring a magic experience for children! They offer fun interactive workshops and art classes, that allow children to be creative and think outside the box to make masterpieces come to life!

Under the Sun Stained Glass Studio fosters a bright, fun and friendly glass art studio that not only manufactures in all 6 glass art modalities, but also runs accredited education for high school students and works with individuals starting as young as 5 years old. Their studio is unique to Canada and it’s so exciting to have this rare opportunity in our Downtown District!

Under the Sun Stained Glass offers a variety of classes and workshops in stained glass, kiln formation, glass casting, torch/lampworking, mosaics, and glass blowing. Starting in October 2022 is a new mixed media program for youth. It will run weekly on Tuesdays and is targeted toward homeschooled and after school children.

Tutoring + Educational Support

If you’re looking for education support for your children between kindergarten and grade 12 consider Kumon. They can work towards putting them on the path to becoming confident, independent, self-reliant people all parents want their children to be.

The Pain Cave offers individual and group training. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn basics or more advanced looking for more complex movements, private sessions are a great way to help you achieve your goals.

Step aerobics is back this September! This is a great cardio workout without putting stress on your joints. Their class is designed to be easy to follow for all fitness levels. From September 6th to October 25th and November 1st to December 20th at 5pm. Each 8 week block will cost $120 plus tax.

New to the Cave this year is a class designed for teenage ladies ages 12-17 looking to learn proper weight lifting forms and techniques. The class will run in 2 - 8 week blocks on Thursdays at 6pm from September 8th to October 27th and November 3rd to December 22nd. Included in the $120 block fee is a strength workout specifically calculated for your teen.
