Welcome the Weekend

Looking for a great way to kick off the weekend? Main Street Leduc is hosting themed events throughout this summer season. Come take a stroll through the downtown core every third Thursday of the month and browse the local boutiques, participate in games and contests, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants, and so on. These events are a perfect way to get the family out and enjoy some quality time while supporting plenty of local businesses and taking advantage of the warm, summer months.

Take a trip back in time and expand your knowledge of Leduc’s history. As the downtown district is very rich with historic events and monuments, it is a great place to book an afternoon date and learn something new! Some featured museums include the Dr. Woods House Museum, in which the public can book tours visiting the original house of Leduc’s first practicing doctor. This blast through the past will put you in the life of an upper-middle-class individual for the duration of your tour. Another great landmark to visit is the Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator, which features one of the last single composite wood crib grain elevators to be built in the Albertan region! This incredible piece of history will surely leave your jaw dropped and your mind blown.

Nature is Calling

Experience Leduc’s beautiful summer months by spending an afternoon down at Herb Reynar Memorial Park, George Liggies Park, or Telford Lake. Spread out on both sides of Main Street, visiting these attractions is the perfect way to soak up some sun, get some fresh air and enjoy some well-deserved quality time with yourself and others.
